When you use RideFaer, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and pickup/drop-off locations. For drivers, we also collect vehicle information, license details, and GPS location data during active rides.
We use your information to: facilitate ride bookings between passengers and drivers, process payments, send ride confirmations and status updates, improve our service, and ensure safety for all users.
Driver location data is collected only while the driver app is active and the driver is online. GPS tracks are stored for active rides to provide real-time tracking to passengers. Location data is retained for the duration specified in organization settings and then automatically deleted.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
We share ride details (pickup location, passenger name) with assigned drivers to facilitate the ride. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share data with law enforcement when required by law.
Ride records are retained for the period configured by the transport organization (default: 12 months). GPS tracks are retained for a shorter period (default: 90 days). You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
